Why Robert Switched to Sony

For most of his career, Robert Evans photographed weddings with a mixture of Canon dSLRs and larger medium format cameras. A few years ago, Robert picked up a Sony camera and he hasn’t looked back since.

Today we’re going to talk about Robert’s decision to switch to Sony, his thoughts on moving to an entirely new system, and his top 5 reasons why he thinks Sony makes awesome cameras for wedding photographers.

  1. I’m almost sold. We’re needing to buy another body for our studio and after Robert’s comments we might try the a6000. The question we have is, like everyone, glass. How can I use our Nikkor lenses on the Sony system? The mount stuff confuses us. Any resources?
