Master photographer John Paul Caponigro is passionate about the value of a printed photograph. In this episode, he reflects on the experience of making a print and how it can affect your voice, approach, and legacy as a photographer. Then he walks you through how to soft-proof your photos in Photoshop before printing and how to tweak your photos to get the best possible print with the fewest hard proofs. Along the way he shares tips on color management too.

John Paul Caponigro is an internationally respected artist whose photographs hang in many private and public collections, including the Smithsonian. John Paul is a member of the Photoshop Hall of Fame, one of Canon's Explorers of Light, and an Epson Stylus Pro. He is a prolific writer and one of the most insightful and generous instructors I've had the pleasure to meet. He teaches exciting photographic workshops around the globe, including upcoming workshops on fine art printing.
