The Creativity Conference — ICELAND!

with Maxim Jago

Maxim Jago joins the podcast to discuss one of his newest projects — the Creativity Conference. Taking place in Reykjavik, Iceland in August of 2022, the event sounds like it will be a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a much-needed “creative recharge”, regardless of your creative genre.

About the Conference, in their own words…

From August 3-5th 2022 in Reykjavík, Iceland, we invite you to attend our incredible in-person global meetup. Hundreds of creatives from around the world will share ideas, inspiration, and opportunities for collaboration. We will present seven live presentation rooms with over 100 sessions exploring everything from poetry and prose to the architecture of an inspired life. Visit our digital experience room for mind-blowing state-of-the-art creative technology, and make new friends in our indoor garden meeting spaces.

Learn from amazing world-class creative speakers as they share and workshop their creative inspiration and approaches for developing new work.

During our first evening, we have the Perlan Ice Museum for our movie night, during which we will screen our short film competition winners.

During our second evening, we have Gamla Bio for our live music night – learn from our incredible musician speakers during the day, and enjoy their performances live that night!

Our third evening is our closing night creative bash, to be held at a secret venue. Expect a wonderful social evening connecting with new creative friends and watching multiple performances by creatives of many kinds!

A buffet lunch is provided every day, as well as teas and coffees, juice, fruit, and snacks.

Access to the whole conference, including lunches and evening events is included with your conference ticket (you will need to arrange your own travel, accommodation, and evening meals).

This promises to be a spectacular event in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, hosted at the fantastic Reykjavík University campus. Iceland is one of the safest countries in the world, with modern Scandinavian/Nordic culture, beautiful architecture, nature and local art, great internet access, and convenient flights from North America and Western Europe. Most Icelanders speak English, too!
