Hi guys. Great show. Regarding the listener question about the use of Minolta lenses on Sony E-mount cameras. Sony makes the LA-EA4 adapter to use A-mount alpha glass on the Full Frame E-mount cameras. That means both Sony a-mount and Minolta a-mount lenses can be used of FF e-mount cameras like the A7. The adapter has a translucent mirror that provides a phase detect AF and even support for screw drive AF lenses. There is also a LA-EA3 that lacks the mirror and does not support AF on screw driven lenses.
If the listener sticks to high end Minolta “G” glass or primes they’ll get excellent results. They may want to visit dyxum.com to get more info about the alpha system.
