TWiP and Panasonic at Photo Plus Expo 2014!
What a great show this years Photo Plus expo was! This year TWiP worked with the Panasonic USA team to conduct a series of “TWiP Talks-style” interviews with their talented Lumix Luminary team, and other industry professionals.
Each interview was recorded in beautiful 4K resolution (though I believe standard HD resolution was uploaded to YouTube). The interviews were shot using three Lumix GH4 cameras connected to a live switcher via the Panasonic DMW-YAGH Interface Unit. We covered various photography topics including; mirrorless, wedding photography, animated portraits and nimble photography and many more.
I’d like to personally thank all of the folks whom I interviewed throughout the week, they are not only talented photographers, but they are all true professionals in “front” of the camera as well.

The TWiP Army!
For me the most surprising part of the show were the masses of This Week in Photo fans that came up to shake my hand! I have to say I was completely blown away! I realize the TWiP Network has a very large listenership, but this was truly over the top. I can’t express how thankful I am that we have such fantastic listeners. And the fact that so many people took time out to come tell me how much they enjoy the TWiP shows was — a TRiP!
So, a heart-felt thanks to the TWiP Army; both those that were able to attend the show, as well as those that listen to our shows faithfully.
The Prize!
Through the generosity of Panasonic, TWiP ran a raffle to give away a fantastic new *Lumix GM5* to one lucky TWiP fan. On the last day of the show we used an online random number generator (www.random.org) to assist with selecting the winner. You know, to keep things “fair and balanced.” 🙂
