TWiP Member Mixer — Philip Grossman + TelemetryISR

TWiP PUBLIC Virtual

Tonight’s TWiP Member Mixer features special guest Philip Grossman, a media-technology strategist, photographer, educator, and longtime broadcast-technology leader.

Philip will give us a look at TelemetryISR, his Lightroom-centered application for analyzing images, creating rich metadata, and making large photo catalogs more searchable and useful. He’ll also demonstrate a new feature he just added: people matching and recognition that stores confirmed identities locally in an encrypted database, so matches can be reused across a Lightroom catalog without sending identity data back for AI training.

This is not a webinar. It’s a TWiP room. We’ll spend the first part of the mixer with Philip — roughly 30–40 minutes of demo, questions, and discussion — then open the floor for informal conversation around what he showed us: metadata, privacy, AI-assisted workflows, catalog intelligence, and what photographers actually need from their archives.

What We’ll Talk About

  • How TelemetryISR reads and describes complex images
  • What rich metadata can do inside a serious Lightroom catalog
  • People recognition without turning your archive into someone else’s training data
  • Where AI-assisted photo workflows help — and where photographers should stay skeptical
  • What happens when your archive becomes more searchable than your memory

Bring

  • Your questions about AI, Lightroom, metadata, and archive workflow
  • Your skepticism
  • Your own catalog pain points
  • Optional: 2–3 intentional images if we drift into Show & Tell after the guest segment

Newcomers welcome. No gear required. Bring your brain.

We hope you enjoyed the event!
