One Mile From Home: What Do You See?

How far do you need to travel to find a great photograph? Turns out, about a mile. This critique challenged our members to step outside their front door, walk roughly one mile, and shoot whatever caught their eye. The constraint forced everyone out of their comfort zones—and the results proved that extraordinary images often hide in ordinary places.

This session's standout shot came from Phil Lewenthal.
