Cheryl Machat Dorskind is on a mission to share her photographic passion worldwide. Cheryl Machat Dorskind has been teaching Adobe Lightroom to professional photographers worldwide and in college classrooms for nearly a decade.
As a pro photographer for over 25 years, Cheryl’s portraits stand the test of time to a loyal and repeat esteemed clientele. Corporate clients include Epic Records, Travel magazine, Random House, The New York Times, Hamptons magazine, and The Southampton Press, Newsday, The Jewish Week, and Niche Media. Her fine art, New York Times-acclaimed “photo paintings” exhibit regularly and are collected worldwide.
Teaching remains an important vehicle in Cheryl’s mission to inspire and jump-start photo careers. She has been teaching in the college classroom since 1994 and holds the rank of adjunct Full professor (LIU Post, Suffolk County, Southampton College) College courses taught include: digital photography, darkroom photography, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Interior Design Portfolio Assessment, BFA and MFA Thesis Mentoring/Independent study.
