TWiP Apps 19: Aperture Exporter; Take the Blue Pill

TWiP Apps 19: Aperture Exporter

Many Apple Aperture users are still lamenting the loss of their beloved app, holding on as tightly as they can, but knowing that eventually… they will have to let go. Today’s podcast isn’t about helping you to decide where to go, but, how to get there. Any decision you make will be a bitter pill to swallow, but to keep you out of the rabbit hole, may I recommend you take… the blue pill. Aperture Exporter by Blue Pill Software is an app that does as the name implies — it exports from Aperture. Your original photos, adjusted photos, metadata, and more, into a universal format that any app can read. No, your adjustments aren’t coming along for the ride but your adjusted images, are.

Join me, PhotoJoseph, for this episode of TWiP Apps with guest Adrian Grah, owner of Blue Pill Software Ltd.

Platform: Aperture Exporter is available on OS X 10.7 or later

  1. Wow, what a great app for Aperture users! I switched to Capture One a long time ago and only put new images into C1. It will be fantastic to now get my old photos into C1!
