TWiP Apps 17: Photomatix

HDR, or High Dynamic Range photography, has been around for longer than you may realize — largely thanks to the engineering minds at HDRsoft. Before HDR evolved to what it is today, it started as simply tone mapping, and the generating of 32-bit images in Photoshop. Today it’s used for everything from landscapes to real estate… can be fantastical or practical… and can make the impossible, real. The results are your dreams… and the software is Photomatix.

Join me, PhotoJoseph, for this episode of TWiP Apps with guest Ron Pepper, Photomatix Insider.

Photomatix is available on macOS and iOS, as well as Windows and Linux. HDRsoft also offers PhotomatixFX for iPhone and Photomatix OneShot for Mac OS.
