How to Shoot Nature – with Charles MacPherson

Charlie MacPherson is an award-winning wildlife and nature photographer who has a real passion for all things arctic. He has photographed polar bears and Alaska brown bears up close from small boats, driven the Dalton Highway in Alaska from end to end, hiked many miles of arctic tundra in Kuujjuaq, Quebec and somehow survived driving the Trans-Labrador highway – before it was paved!

His search for beautiful nature and wildlife images has taken him to a diverse array of photo locations, including New England, Yellowstone National Park, Death Valley, northern Labrador, Nunavik, Iceland and all over Alaska.

He’s also a Realtor® in Scituate, Massachusetts, helping clients to buy, sell and invest in properties from Boston to Cape Cod. In this role, his photography skills are put to good use as he creates marketing images that make his client’s properties look their best.
