About our guest:

Sean Kernan is an inspiring photographer whose work evidences his embrace of the creative process. His photographs have been exhibited at museums and galleries around the world and published in The New York Times magazine, Smithsonian, New York, Harpers, Communication Arts, and other prestigious publications. His books include the incomparable photographic monograph The Secret Books—a moving series of black and white photographs illustrating text by Jorge Luis Borges.

Sean has been developing exercises in creativity for photographers and other creative professionals for over 30 years. He's taught workshops in photography and creativity at the International Center for Photography, the New School, Santa Fe Photo Workshops, and Maine Photo Workshops. His latest book, Looking into The Light, offers creative exercises for photographers, including some exercises he demonstrates for us in this episode of TheFIX.
